Hot Teen Blonde Babe

Halldora Eiriksdottir

10:30-11:00

This show will explore the heterosexual relationship between Barbie and Ken. The harms and the goods it follows. Influences that porn has on individuals and relationships. Then, how do we move away from rape culture?
The generation that are becoming adults now, when they were young children they could access graphic unrealistic porn videos, often without their consent on the internet. This can be seen as child abuse and immediately affects the child's brain. We are the generation that has grown up our whole life with the early days of the internet. However, we are also the generation that forces boundaries, safe spaces and celebrates bodies that aren't like Barbie's and Ken's and people that are not cisgender and heterosexual.
Sex is meant to be pleasurable, not a performance, and that's the main theme of the show.

Establishments, royals, governments and loyalties are constantly changing but what is it about humans that keeps the power scales tilting?

On Her Terms

Niamh Deasy and Rachel McKay

13:00-13:45

'On Her Terms’ is a piece written by women, for everyone.
Maneuvering through modern day feminism is a complicated and intimidating thing. Twitter fights, cancel culture and performative activism often sways us away from dealing with the true issues of our misogynistic world.

Join us in the women’s bathroom of a nightclub. There we’ll meet various different characters who, on a night out, face the sexism that club-culture contains and unite in their shared experiences.

This project is a performative exhibition in which the audience is involved and takes part in an immersive experience. What unites us and what are random connections that bring us together? What can remain as it is and does not need to be understood, what can brush by and what can be an experience? These are some of the questions Myriam Angela asks with the project "We are all..." and invites the participants on a journey through visual, auditory and interactive creations.
